Re: Last Stand on Opium Hill campaign (updated 1 11 20)

The Japanese continue their drive on Singapore but now reach a tough defensive position held by the Malay Regiment for scenario 3. Is this where their offensive will stall, or can they push on through? Another gripping game in what is turning into a very enjoyable campaign, the full AAR is here: htt...

Great report and unfolding narrative, and love the way your figures and images reflect key elements of the story as it develops - eg. that shot of your CO rushing across to the fork in the road to direct your right flank - he really looks like he is encouraging them on! The casualty figs are also a...

Re: Last Stand on Opium Hill campaign

We are back for scenario 2 in the campaign. The Japanese push on towards Singapore. We reach the small village of Buena Vista where the Malay Regiment will conduct a delaying action to try to stall the advance. Re: SOME GENERIC SPECIAL RULES

I think much also depends on the expected response to the loss of the LMG crew. The rules assume that the squad leader ensures the gun is always operated by someone. In a two team squad the junior leader can spend a CI to assign men from the rifle team, so it’s technically possible to keep the LMG t...

Re: Colonial house for Singapore for Chain of Command

Indeed. Pull out the palm trees and cover the holes with some clump foliage and it will be back in Europe in no time 😉 Or alternatively leave the palm trees and refight the initial "Riviera" days of Operation Dragoon ;) (Lovely work as always!) Now there’s a thought, all we need is for someone to w...
