Bipod mounted MG34s (belt fed LMGs)in normal Platoons, with tripod mounted MG34s (Tripod mount MMGs) available as supports.

Just a quick question. In the 1809 list the rifle-armed skirmishers are limited to one group; so why give them “formation: always?”

Some people will want to use them as supports and others will want to make up their own lists.

It was run by Gerard, Roderick and Mike, an unholy triumvirate from the South East Scotland Wargames Club and has not been published anywhere.

I'll speak to the next week and see if they'd be interested in writing the thing up.
