Re: Tank Wars

Grumpy Muppet, we have played a little bit of IABSM at the Perth Miniatures Gamers Group (PMGG) and have played a bit more WaT. We do however play a lot of CoC.

Re: Tank Wars

Hi Grumpy Muppet 1. If you have a radio net the SL can freely activate a position or positions in other tanks, he can't lift shock over the radio though. A one and a two can be combined to make a 3 which can activate a JL and hence a tank. Normally a 2 or a 1 on their own will do nothing for a tank....

Re: FG42 on FSJ platoons?

Seret you say it out shoots the BAR which makes it better as an Assault Rifle? in CoC terms the BAR is a much better weapon than an Assault Rifle

Re: French Flamethrowers in WW2

I have seen more flame throwers used in Bolt action than I have CoC and I have played a lot less games of BA than CoC, but I agree they are still used more than they should be and not how they should be. The times I have seen them used on the table in CoC are usually by a defender as an ambush weapo...

Re: Anyone working on 1939 Japanese?

The US troops didn't like facing the GD either, I have an article somewhere that attributes a high percentage of all US causalities in the Pacific to Mortars in general and the 'Knee Mortar' or GD specifically.

Re: Anyone working on 1939 Japanese?

I agree TT from my reading not really used a tactic , more a western generalisation popularised by various forms of media over the years

Re: Visibility into building

I do not think they are too vulnerable they already have the officers 1 in 6 chance to kill but the other bad effects don't worry them as they dont have CI to lose etc. From what I have read FOO were a prime target and heough binoculars were fairly easy to pick out. Have book on US ones somewhere w...

Re: TTS - would anyone like to play online?

I bought the Simulator in the half price sale so $14. The CoC add ons are free TT. I helpeda couple of Bolt Action players with a game of Chain a couple of days ago as I was talking to them while they streamed it. I have been mucking around with it my self just getting used to the controls. Yes both...
