Re: Some questions from first game.
I think that this is pretty succinctly answered on page 49. It depends on how the groups in formation are oriented. If they are side by side (G-G-G), the contacted group will fight in full and if the nearest group is within 2" of the point of contact in the second round of combat (supposing it lasts...

Re: Some questions from first game.
Step Forth: 1: Reading the rules as written, since the noble is being activated, technically he should be able to play suited cards. 2: Yes 3: He may use the card at any time. Carpe Diem: 1: I would say the cards are used sequentially, no need to reveal them unless the conditions required for use ar...

Re: Gunnar's Pacific Adventure
Well, have have the capability to paint with more detail, but for modern era games, I tend to just wash and drybrush to keep them subdued. It's a personal artistic choice for these guys as I like them to kind of blend in with terrain and also not take forever to paint. I take much more time with my ...

Re: Gunnar's Pacific Adventure
Here are some more minis that I just finished up a day or two ago. More US Army and some Japanese. I have the rest of the first Japanese squad finished, but I haven't photographed them yet. I will say that the camera is not forgiving on the simpler paint job with close ups, haha. Maybe longer shots ...

Re: Thrown Back & Retire movement
I would say they fall back towards where they charged from if they are the attacker or directly away from the axis of attack if they were the defender. If this causes them to push into another unit, place them on the other side of the interpenetrated unit. Nice and simple and it makes the most sense...

Re: Vehicle Compulsory Move
Hey John, fancy seeing you here. I would personally rule it that if it was pushed off the table, you'd have to move it back to reserves and redeploy, but I could see it counting as routing. Remember though, a vehicle can deploy up to 6" from the table edge, which should prevent this most of the time.

Re: Gunnar's Pacific Adventure
First squad of my Marines (minus a rifleman that I forgot) are ready for basing, once I figure out how I want to do them. The next squad will have even more faded uniforms. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DxtBqmPWsAEg-no.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DxtBqkrXgAURgIg.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dxt...
