Re: British intervention force

The ACW plastics are definitely the newer style plastics, being far more evenly proportioned than the old plastics. I can't say how well they scale with the metals, but my assumption is that they'll be a little slighter.

Dux Britanniarum at Cold Wars

Here are my pictures from the Dux Brit game at HMGS Cold Wars in Lancaster, PA. I ran a raid on a village using my Last of the Romans supplement. The Franks, led by Clodwig Wodenborn, were intent on looting the village and the Gallo-Romans, led by Malamus Sexus and Maximus Minimus, intent on stoppin...

Re: Flank Attacks

Groups always fight together. The only time you have to do any measurements or calculations is with multiple groups. In your situation, the entire group would turn and fight.

Re: Dux Arda: Lard of the Rings

John Cunningham (EasyEight) did the design work on the cards. I just formatted them for printing at artscow. We're hoping to write up campaign progressions for each faction. John did the Dwarves and I'll be starting with Gondor and Mordor probably. I'd also like to write one specifically for Balin's...

Re: Dux Arda: Lard of the Rings

Yes, the first three decks. Rohan, Isengard, Gondor, Harad, Easterlings, and all generic fate cards except desperare, which didn't fit.

You'll also get the added bonus of getting my cards for my Franks faction for the Domain of Soissons supplement.

Re: Some questions from first game.

I think that this is pretty succinctly answered on page 49. It depends on how the groups in formation are oriented. If they are side by side (G-G-G), the contacted group will fight in full and if the nearest group is within 2" of the point of contact in the second round of combat (supposing it lasts...

Re: Some questions from first game.

Step Forth: 1: Reading the rules as written, since the noble is being activated, technically he should be able to play suited cards. 2: Yes 3: He may use the card at any time. Carpe Diem: 1: I would say the cards are used sequentially, no need to reveal them unless the conditions required for use ar...
