Re: The Poles Drop In - Lardmag 2023

Thanks Captain, I was of the same opinion but wasn't sure. I hadn't thought to check the umpire's notes though.

The Poles Drop In - Lardmag 2023

Hey,

We're running 'The Poles Drop In' from the latest Lardmag, and we have a question..... Scenario 2 states "it only ever fought once" (under Objectives P.111) and also says "This scenario may be played multiple times" (under Polish Support P111). Which is it?

Re: Mounted Warriors Evading

P63. "If an enemy Warrior Group attempts to make contact with a Mounted Warrior Group in the Flank or Rear, The Mounted Warriors may choose to evade." House rules aren't really necessary according to P63, however I just needed to know how far Mounted Warriors evade according to the rules a...

Re: New Smolensk PSC on TTCP

Sorry for the necro but am getting ready to play this and so was doing some research on 7th Panzer in 1941. It looks like 7th panzer had some of the captured French Panhard P-204(f) armored cars in their Aufklärung battalion. Ran across a mention of it in Zaloga’s Panzer 38(t) vs BT-7 book for Ospr...

Re: New Smolensk PSC on TTCP - question

OK the Germans have an option to take a Char Bis as a support choice? I have heard of the Hotchkiss and Renault 35 being used for garrison duties, but was understanding that the Chars were only used in France. Apologies. I rarely browse this forum anymore, well not as much as I would like.. Yes the...

New Dropbox share for my PSCs

Andy Duffell has kindly pointed out that I've inadvertently (stupidly) broken some of the links to my PSCs. So what I've done is stick all of the stuff I've written in a new shared Dropbox folder. You can find on this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4xuniehxbyurs5b/AABklSoZC85OdrEOLqG8nqFfa?dl=0 Tr...

Re: Running a campaign

As the guys have said ATSE is essential for CoC if you're looking at campaigns. One Pint Sized Campaign doesn't need ATSE and that's "29 Lets Go" but most others do. My advice if you're just starting out is to run one of the standard Pint Sized Campaigns first to get a feel for how they ru...

Re: Ways to run soviet commisars?

Commissars were allocated at company level and above and were part of the command structure up until late 1941. Commissar responsibilities are actually well defined within the Soviet order throughout the war. I added the Commissar as a National Characteristic for the Smolensk PSC as shown below. A C...
