Personally, I think that new members should only be able to post after they have been a member for 7 days.
I know it is hard on the genuine new guys, but until an automatic spam killer is found, I think it is the best way.
Their first post must be to introduce themselves.

The only thing I can suggest is this....
Paint ONE figure, place it in the centre of your gaming table.
What you can not see, don't bother painting.

If my info is correct, their role changed in 1942, and 250,000 went to become Infantry Lieutenants.

So, a suggested rule is:
When doing the Force Morale roll, do another roll and 4, 5 or 6, your Force Morale goes up 1 (max 11).

My tuppence worth; The defender draws the defences on a map BEFORE the 'Patrol Phase'. Any that the attacker sees AFTER placing his jump-off points, is placed onboard there-and-then. I would say the following:-
1) I am pretty sure that the US squad would have someone sticking their head around the corner of the house, keeping an eye on the field.
2) The Germans would see, and/or hear, the Yanks rushing into the house.
