Re: Universal Carriers

Many thanks all, indead I have learned a lot (and have even more yet to learn)...

As the Crew always gets light cover when mounted, the best reason to dismound is to profit from hard cover- otherwise I will just keep them mounted - or do you advise otherwise?

Re: Universal Carriers

Many thanks, Seret.

With that many options 3 Points seem to be rather cheap (as it originally was calculated without weapons). Should I use higher point costs when I use the options you have described?

Universal Carriers

Hi all, sorry, another newbie-question. In the British Support List, the Universal carriers do come with a crew but no weapons. In the arsenal table, it reads "as weapon". With other vehicles it is my understanding that you have to designate a team to them and then they will have this teams weapon. ...

Re: Two questions concerning sections

Many thanks for your answer! At the example of the jeep (list 1) if you could not split up a section but would need an independent team to crew it, it would take a machine-gun team (list 5) and thus a hmg-mounted on a jeep would cost 6 points. Rather expennsive - thats why I was hoping I could split...

Two questions concerning sections

Hi all, I have read that during deployment, Sections have to be deployed as a whole rather than have their machine-gun team deployed seperately on a dice of 1. This gives rise to two questions: Am I allowed to seperate a section later on, e.g. leaving the machine-gun team behind and have only the ri...

Abbreviations A.P. And H.E.

Hi,

Being new to CoC I am stuck with the abbreviations H.E. and A.P. - I cannot find them explained in the rulebook. Ap could be anti personal - but that makes no sense as it is the value used against armoured vehicles, is it not?

I am grateful for any help.

Best,
Tobi

Nobles in combat

Hi, I'm sorry, this question has certainly been posed elsewhere but I can't find it. If a noble is in combat on his own (since the group he was with has been wiped out and he chose to fight) he counts hits as wounds and ignores shock. But what is he rated as? If he is the lord, he is certainly elite...
