Re: World War I What A Tanker!

We are still working on the stats for other vehicles such as the Renault FT 17, St Chamond and Schneider. We might even sneak in the unlikely LKI and II. The Whippet has something like 15mm armour, in fact heavier that the big Mk IV and about the same as a Mk V. so that will be a 2 or perhaps a 3. I...

Re: World War I What A Tanker!

Yes, indeed. Market was from 14.00hrs till 21.00hrs. By 19.00hrs it was minus 4. But right across from us there was a stand that served suckling pig sandwiches with garlic or honey- mustard sauce. Delicious and hot! The 3000w terrace warmer also helped a lot... Still managed to get in about 6 games,...

World War I What A Tanker!

Did a participation game at the Christmas Market in Antwerp last Saturday. Worked out quite well with just a few changes. Two A7V's against 4 Mk IV (2 Male ,2 Female)

Just when you thought you knew it all..

... someone manages to make you doubt something.
Can you activate the cavalry card with a Step Forth card? I've always played not since the Step Forth says activate leader that hasn't been activated yet but the argument was that most if not all cavalry groups include a Noble or even Lord.

Re: Thoughts on a Kingdom of Soissons Campaign?

Do you mean the Syagrius campaign in Belgica II? Clovis et al? It would make a fantastic campaign especially with the Armorican bacaudae and such. We played a few separate games using these forces but no campaign as of yet. For some reason the British campaigns are more alluring to the majority of o...

Re: Nobles in combat

Same here. We always count a sole Noble as Elite. Makes for an exciting fight sometimes. I'm sure Glenn will always remember wiping out a group of 5 warriors with his Lvl II Noble.

Re: HELP! Looking for a figure

One of the most suitable would be the Gripping Beast Ulf character. He's almost 36mm tall and beautifully sculpted. I think he would make a nice 'Cei' http://www.grippingbeast.co.uk/SHVA15_Ulf_The_Quarrelsome_1_Irish_Special_Character--product--5349.html Another 'big' one is this Brude from Bronze A...
