Basically, crew doesn´t shoot. The weapon shoots. All collective weapons works the same. Save for light mortars, that are specifically allowed to use their personal weapons (rifles) to defend themselves if under minimun mortar range.

If a squad is activated with its leader on a 2, the squad activates to move or shoot. So the leader moves or shoot too. Then, he can´t use his CI. And as he has been activated, he can't be activated again on a 3. That´s how I read it.

I wouldn't change anything about gun sights. It is not worth it. About climb rate. Hawk 75 climbs 3700 feet per minute under 6000 feet, and then goes down, 1200 feet per minute at 20000 feet. The Bf-109-3 climbs 3300 under 6000 feet but climbs 1600 at 20000 feet. So Bf-109 performance at high altitu...

No pilot armour. A1 and A2 began adding rubber liners to fuel tanks on late 1939 early 1940. Not all planes carried them. They had 30 seconds ammunition for nose guns and 24 seconds ammunition for wing guns. Later A2 models carried 6 mg. They were only a couple of mph slower. Model A3 carried 6 mg, ...
