Simplifying Tank Kills

Tank combat always struck me as more binary than the degradation found in many low level rule sets (IABSM, CoC etc). You're either Ok, or you are knocked out. The rules are ok for when it is a few tanks in support of infantry, but I think we need to simplify for games with large forces of armour in,...

Re: Taking Cover

I've also started playing any pinned unit also counts as taking cover (ie 1 level better) until the pin comes off at tea break.

Re: Leaders as Crew Members

Cheers - I also think it should be a loss of at least one- he has to spend an action being the gunners mate.

Q13 v IABSM

Is there anything in Q13 that I need to watch out for rather than assuming IABSM?

Status Tests

Do you only take Status Tests after Shooting casualties? What about after close combat?

I ask because winning the Firefight states "...Including if a unit becomes Defeated due to casualties inflicted in the Firefight"

Leaders as Crew Members

I'm sure I've asked this before (poss on the Yahoo group), and Rich said yes, but following a dispute at my club....

Can a Leader act as a crew member? eg a MG loses all but one crew (the gunner). A leader is stood with the group. Can he act as loader to avoid the negative dice modifier?

A TFL pub

The "Jack Horner" on Tottenham Court Road is a Fullers 'Pie and Ale' pub; I think the only meals it serves are pies, and the beer is rather nice too.

Re: Firing at multiple targets query

I was considering allocating lowest first - so the easiest units to hit get more hits, as that seems more likely.

Firing at multiple targets query

Can we have some clarifications please - caused some confusion last Wednesday, all about how to split fire. 1) How close do units have to be to mean the firer must split hits? The rules use 'Continuous line' - does this mean touching? 2) If two different units have different to hit numbers, how do y...

My version of QRS

On my blog

I didn't put it on the Yahoo group as Yahoo and I are having a log-in issue (It thinks I've forgotten who I am and my password. I'm not sure if I have)
