Re: Generic Romanian List 1942 onwards

Is the omission of an extra squad as a support deliberate? They’re normally round about list 4.

Re: Circle the Wagons scenario query

Hi Tom. Final table size was the standard 6’ x 4’ (it was played out in 15mm,scale). There is no “clean table map” but there are lots of maps/photographs on my blog (Bullets, Bandages and Lard) and the photo at the start of the article in the Summer Special gives a good idea of the layout (there’s a...

Re: OML6 event 9th June 2018

The space has now gone, but if you’re interested in going on a reserve list with priority on future spaces, then please contact me with a valid email address. There are always unforeseen cancellations every year. You’ve got to be in it to win it!

Cheers

Re: Rich on 6 command dice

I’m NOT a fan of six dice elites. Whether they be mine or my opponents. However, I do very much like the “pool” option of 3-5 (dependent on scenario) extra command dice. Useable in critical situations, no more than 1 at a time to POSSIBLY swing the action and reflect the chance of elite training com...

Re: Bridge on the River Don

Oozeboss, I was part of the deciding group to attack first with our infantry, supported by Stugs and 75mm infantry guns. We presumed (wrongly as it turned out) that the Russians would have enough forces to fill the first village with A/T guns or a T34 or two. Last thing we wanted was a few of our "B...

Re: Official list for German Assault Pioneers for Stalingrad

As has been said already a pionere list for 42-43 is included (along with many more German/Russian lists for the same period) in the 2016 Winter Special here: http://toofatlardies.co.uk/product/christmas-special-2016/ As for picking up a copy of Island of Fire (a SUPERB BOOK), good luck! They're as ...

Reserves - Providing Command Dice?

I'm a little confused as to how (particularly) off-table reserves are introduced. We're intending to play a game with timed reinforcements entering on "turn X" from an historical action. But on reading the two rules below I need to clarify how this is done please...... P21. "Brigades in Reserve (bot...
