Question about Skirmisher formations; I'm doing up some victrix slingers and want to have them in sabots because the little guys weigh basically nothing bless them.

What kind of sabot would be most suitable? Tight ranks, loose, straight line, just a big clump?

It's a 35mm by 60mm, but 2p's look too small for lone cavalry These are from the Victrix Roman General sprue, so will be "Big Men" on the battlefield, so they want to be look important and lead...

Following up on this: those of you who have had the Vitrix EIRs, how easily do you think the command sprue would be to convert to regular dudes? Over a certain number of boxes/units, there's going to be a silly number of instruments and signifiers etc or a quarter of the minis unused if they're not....

From what we know at the moment, what's going to be a sensible way to base the little dudes?

I've got some Victrix chaps on the way and I'd ideally like to crack on now with them rather than waiting until Easter....
