This come up from time to time. My view has always been yes but the consensus is no you need to have a unit touch the JOP to stop it being moved.

The option wr used in Caesar's Camp PSC was as well as the off table MMG in one mission to allow a MG section , so two MMG and a JL I think it was 6 pts.

He runs with no shock as he is probably an officer😃

Secondly yes the barrage continues in same location until stopped, although if you do not spend CI dice on it you do not roll for casualties.
