Re: Does Size Matter?

Glad to see it was just us on this subject :-) So if we were to expand this subject further and if it were linked to drill and training it could be for instance that two groups of warriors with identical sized shields could be different armour classes. e.g. Inferior Warriors with a large shield coul...

Does Size Matter?

Here's a question for the lard collective. We were chatting through shield sizes at our virtual club yesterday and if you had two groups of warriors one armed with Roman style shields and the other with round shields (think Viking style) at what point would light armour saves become medium? Indeed s...

Re: Bronze Age Infamy

Yes I had a read through a number of the Dux adaptions. Currently working through Nigel Stillman's Chariot Wars supplement from Warhammer Ancient and mapping back to Infamy. e.g. mass ranks of bow would be inferior warriors, with perhaps a -2d6 if caught in hand to hand and as you say Tomm will prob...

Bronze Age Infamy

Afternoon all.
Anyone got any plans for Infamy in the Bronze Age?
I am working on New Kingdom Egyptians and Hittites with some particular tweaks for each nation.
Both had a greater reliance of Chariots not only as shooting platforms but also for impact.
Anyone else given this any thought?
Cheers

Re: size of TMB games

I regularly run games with around 6-10 big men per side and don't have any problems.

Re: Cavalry in M&B

Thanks Jim. To be honest I had not thought about keeping back on blinds to protect them from enemy fire. historically we have used blinds to get to grips early on rather being held back, the next scenario is a recon type affair so that would certainlt work.

Cavalry in M&B

Morning chaps, just finished my first Cavalry unit for the RJW project, any suggestions on how best to use them on the battlefield? Cover the flanks?, terrain grab or hold back for to plug a gap or exploit any breaks? http://dusttears.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/brigade-games-cossack-cavalry.html We are ...

Re: Converting to 20mm

Chaps here's another distraction.
http://dusttears.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10 ... eview.html
The Wyvern Wargamers are putting on a WW1 game in 15mm at Warfare for M&B.
Only the Sunday I am afraid, stop by and say hello.

Re:: Take Cover

Thanks Dick, I might pinch the tactical tokens from CoC to help me remember. :-)
So do you play it that you can take cover on a snifter card - it feels like you can in the same way you can adjust position?

RE: Loss of Bottle

Morning all, I thought I would pose a couple of questions following an encounter last night. If a group takes fire and exceeds their shock vs men by 2 they retire straight away - correct. For this question I assume they of Good morale. If they receive fire again in the same turn and gain 2 more shoc...
