Re: M8 Greyhound

My stats are the same except I don't penalise it in terms of dice offroad. I give it a 'Wheeled' trait, which makes it Fast on roads but doubles all movement penalties for damage and bad terrain - we use a -1 or -2 per die rolled for soft ground, woods, steep slopes, etc. My stats are in a file on t...

Re: Firing smoke

One of the cards I'm making up to increase the variety is DEPLOY SMOKE! Your tank immediately (even if not during your activation, but NOT before a declared enemy action is completed) activates smoke dischargers creating a 2" radius cloud of smoke around it, causing a -2 penalty to ACQUIRE and SHOOT...

Re: Availability of 1/72 low tier vehicles, especially starter tanks

I've never actually heard of triangular headed screws & screwdrivers before, but apparently I have one... well, a separate head for a variable screwdriver, I've clearly never used... A quick search for triangular headed screwdrivers suggests they're pretty common...

Re: heavy tank armour

I don't think those are the tanks that are having the "heavy armour" label attached - one would hardly describe the Char B1 bis as "flimsy"! They aren't - my point is, if the term 'Heavy Armour' refers to tanks with side armour as effective as front armour, the actual thickness of the armour is not...

Re: heavy tank armour

I find it oddly amusing that very early war, flimsy tanks should be given the characteristic of 'Heavy armour' as their armour was often the same on all sides - albeit only 10-15mm thick!

Re: Wheeled/ Half Track Rules

I think the best rules I have seen for wheeled vehicles are: Cannot cross linear obstacles Count fast if on road, slow if not. Cannot pivot on the spot. Rather than saying 'linear obstacles' or 'walls' I'd say cannot cross Major Obstacles. You can drive a truck through a lightweight wall or a hedge...

Re: Humbers and Pumas and Stags, oh my

I'd like to use that spreadsheet for a WAT! event at MOAB on the last weekend in September, but I'm not accessing it off Facebook at the moment. Do you know of any issues with that file? I have d/l it myself previously and it worked, but now it's unavailable. No idea why, Facebook is a rubbish plac...

I intend to do a load of additional tanks for WaT ....
I'd be keen to see what you come up with.
Resurrecting this thread, I posted my spreadsheet to the WaT! Facebook page, since that allows posting Excel files!

Re: Humbers and Pumas and Stags, oh my

Speaking of the Panhard.... Does anyone have numbers for the vehicle's armor and # of strikes for the 25mm? It's a favorite of mine and I have 3 in the pipeline and would like to use one for our Christmas game. The Panhard is amongst the new vehicles on a spreadsheet I uploaded to the Facebook page...
