Re: Patrol Markers query

There is no minimum deployment distance from HIS markers as such - only a minimum of 6" from YOUR patrol markers So if your lines did not cross any suitable terrain in that diagram above you need more terrain on your table!! :D I agree with TT here it should not have influenced your placement to mu...

Re: Couple of Questions

There is a difference in being within 4" of the woods edge and being 4" in the woods.

Within 4" tank can fire out without penalties but fired at will get cover bonus.

Being 4" in the wood can't fire and can't be fired at. Just too much terrain between it and the target.

The Paratroops initially wore the M42 Jump Jacket and later the M43 Jump Jacket. Now my question.. was the infantry M43 jacket and the M43 P...

Re: Early War Handbook Queries

Thanks Peter I see the error of my ways. I don't know why I compared the task roll for the placement of a charge to the trowing of a grenade.

So one activation with a command initiative = on roll on task roll and activation gone.

Re: Early War Handbook Queries

A demolition Team needs a certain task roll total to be met for the demolitions to be placed. So each time a team is activated it rolls a D6 which means to place a charge on a road or rail bridge the team will need to be activated 4 times minimum therefore 4 active phases rolling a 6 each time minim...

Re: Firing through members of the same unit

Ok now even Rich is doing blob firing! and not just that but he has the team hang back from the windows and has the entire section fire at a unit outside giving them light cover. Check Beasts of War Let's Play Chain of Command the collective pig farm game at about 31 minutes into the game. https://y...
