I agree about including dead from attached squads, too. People have a tendency to be a bit "adventurous" with the rent-a-squad otherwise. How it is done now or in recent memory is not how it was done in WWII, especially given the truncated training periods introduced shortly after it started.

In an ideal world fire is controlled, but individual preservation overrides that. I was talking about those troops that roll six normal dice, as defined in the rule book. Obviously by not counting 5 or 6 on the sixth coloured dice, then the probability is the same as when you roll just five normal dice.
