Re: How do you attack in this game?
Pardon - you lost me at the first split. You have to split dice if teams are within 4" and in same cover You can choose to NOT split dice if they are in different cover If they are at different ranges you have the same choice as if they had different cover. You MAY choose to concentrate on the clos...

Re: How do you attack in this game?
Roll separate dice. It doesn't come up that often so we just roll separate. I thought it was in the FAQ? I didn´t see it in the FAQ but may have missed it... First question on p15 👍 Yeah, similar question all right. I had searched for the word "Range" ando so missed this one in particular. Tough it...

Re: Multi Targeting
So you just ignore rule 8.3 and the possibility it clearly gives to a firing unit? No on this case I would ignore the FAQ on both counts. So in your opinion a firing squad activated with a 2 can still fire at multiple target teams applying the principle that different men inside the firing units ca...

Re: How do you attack in this game?
Going to use this thread to raise a question which though it may seem rather basic I don't find an direct answer in the rules. The rules gives us answers for shooting at targets in different cover. The CoC Errata - FAQ´s doc. also give us an answer regrind targets from different experience (e.g. reg...

Multi Targeting
Been doing some re-reading and interpretation of some rules and one "issue" caught my eye, the interaction between rule "8.3 TARGET DEFINED" and the last paragraph of rule 4.4. "All members of the Section or Team must do the same thing when activated together. (See Section 4.5.6, Unit Actions Define...

Re: Rifleman - but what gun?
Looking at the various Army list, but specifically the German lists, I'm a bit at a loss by the fact that only the machine gun used by the teams gets identified, any other member is considered a Rifleman. But what exactly what kind of "Rifle" are they using in each list? When can we consider the us...

Re: Rifleman - but what gun?
"If we added a "couple" of them to a squad how would it impact on the platoon rating?" The STG44 was not issued piecemeal in ones and two to sections. jdg The STG44 yes but its predecessors (MP43/44) I think were actually used to supplement the Kar 98K, so I don't think its unfeasible to use a "cou...
