Re: German SdKfz 250 and 4 man Recon team.

Hmmm, but if the 250 was their only bus out of danger if things took a turn for the worse, seeing it blown up would be a ‘bad thing’ that might affect force morale, surely?

Re: New to SP, some advice.

Where are you based Tim?

Again, we really do need an official “Lardfinder” board here!

Re: Help making some very hot Lard?

Thinking about my experience of games at various TFL days, for introductory games of SP, I’d stick with 6x4 tables and 4 players, especially with a 3-4 hour time limit. But if you really need 6 players, 3 per side, might still be ‘do-able’ with the right scenario. Give the game a particular mission ...

Re: Shock and movement

No, whether or not you use one or two actions to move (or two plus the bonus movement action for Skirmishers), it’s still only only a single movement and therefore the deduction for Shock is only applied once.

Re: Shock and movement

You’re wrong: it’s -2” from the total, whether you are rolling 1,2 or 3 dice for the unit movement.

It’s NOT -2” per dice rolled.

Re: Indian Tribes?

Indian warfare, especially the Plains Wars of the 1850-1890 period, doesn’t readily conform to the standard troop types provided in SP, and needs quite a lot of tweaks to better reflect their ‘heroic yet casualty-averse’ approach, tactics and characteristics. I made some suggestions for Eastern Wood...

Re: Visibility, Fire, and Close Combat in Forests (Addressed)

‘Sort of’ related question: are there any restrictions to firing mortars from inside a wood or forest?

Re: Interruption

But sometimes useful if it enables you to break that battered enemy section and force one or more BTH tests while they’re still in the open, just as they’re about to run around the corner and out of LOS.
