Re: GDA List Creator

I have downloaded Mark's form and updated to a number of optional rules and the FAQ. It was not password protected.
Mark's form is a great resource.

Re: GDA2

I agree with the guys above. I don't see anything that is broken. I am not a fan of buckets of dice especially in a larger battle. The dice could be overwhelming in a large battle and be everywhere on the table. I think it is different in smaller unit type actions like Sharp Practice or COC where it...

Re: modifications to the rules for using 10mm figures

If you are looking for more information on 10mm the Marauders Moments Blog is a great source. They have converted from 28mm to 10mm scale and Jeremy talks about the process and scale. Great resource. I believe they use the 28mm inches to cm's conversion even though they have large tables. They start...

Re: Just starting out questions

I think 4 bases of 6 will be, and look great. I think the more important factor is that others you are playing with use similar basing. The 4 bases of 6 is similar to the GDBe format which they would have 24 figure battalions mounted just like that. Although that scale is 1 to 20 it looks very nice ...

Re: Just starting out questions

Hi Kev, we play GDA in 15mm at a scale of 1 to 30. So 24 figures is a standard battalion. 6 stands of 4. Stand size: 3/4" x 1" A French Battalion is 4 stands of 4 Fusiliers, 1 stand of 4 Grenadiers and 1 stand of 4 Voltigiers. We do not break out the Voltigiers from our battalions for the brigade sk...

Re: Old Napoleonic Scenario Books

Here is how we use the extra skirmishers listed in the OOB.

For Skirmishers we use:
18 Figures; add 2 skirmish bases to the Brigade skirmish screen.
12 Figures; add 1 skirmish base to the Brigade skirmish screen.

Re: Old Napoleonic Scenario Books

I was wondering whether the GdB elite cav would be classified as battle or heavy in GdA. I guess the elite lights would tend to be classed as battle while the cuirassiers and other elite heavies might merit an elite status. Yes that is how we would play it also. Those are part of the exceptions whe...
