Re: Waffen SS 1944/45 Platoon Organisation

Hi Andy, The unit I'll be modelling will be the Latvian Legion though it will be used more as the 19th SS Division (2nd Latvian) part of it. There were 2 Latvian divisions, the 15th and the 19th although the 19th contained the original members of the 2nd SS Latvian Brigade that was formed in early 1...

Re: Waffen SS 1944/45 Platoon Organisation

It'll be the 19th SS (2nd Latvian) Division which was a frontline unit and performed quite well so I would probably make them Superior Regular in CoC.

Thanks for the suggestions with the extra LMG and Panzerfausts.

Re: Waffen SS 1944/45 Platoon Organisation

Hi John, Thanks for the help. Andy says that there would be 9 or 10 Panzerfausts per Platoon. In the Platoon list would they have 3 per Squad and 1 in the Platoon HQ? Kind regards, Townsend Thanks everyone else for the help as well. @custosarmorum: The platoon that I will be doing will be one of the...

Waffen SS 1944/45 Platoon Organisation

Hi, I am planning on doing a late war SS Infantry Platoon for the Eastern Front and I am wondering if it would be any different to the army list in the rulebook for a German Infantry Platoon. I would expect it to have more Panzerfausts and possibly an extra MP40 in each squad although I am yet to fi...

They look really good so far. I may have to make my roads using your method.

Re: Making Pak 40 and LeIG 18 Ammo Boxes

Ok. I think green stuff would be too difficult to get the exact sizes that I will need for the boxes. Thanks for the advice though.

@Rich H
I believe the boxes are metal.

@gilliessim
Thanks, I'll see how I go with making them though I am unsure of the right dimensions for them.

Making Pak 40 and LeIG 18 Ammo Boxes

Hi,

I am planning on getting a Pak 40 and an LeIG 18 for my Latvian Legion platoon. I would like to have 1 or 2 ammo boxes on the bases although I am unsure of how to make it apart from using plasticard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
Townsend
