Anyone for a Tanker?
Today, my solo game was a 'What a Tanker' game, which I haven't played in what seems forever! It was a lot of fun! If you want to see what happened, please go to https://herkybird-richardbradley.blogspot.com/2020/11/solo-tanking.html https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_m8Ofxx2Xyc/X7AJoHbQdUI/AAAAAAAAoyI/eOU...

Thanks Carl!
Actually, I used my own rules for solo play, and my own Arab-Israeli Tanker supplement, both free to download from my club website https://herkybird.tynesidewargames.co.uk/misc.html

More AI tanking
Today, we had a couple of games of What a Tanker at our club. The first using my AI Tanker supplement, and the second a straight game. The write ups are on my blog at this link https://herkybird-richardbradley.blogspot.com/2020/08/the-egyptian-front.html https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9nWjvYyRejQ/X0GIVh...

PS: the link to the rules is https://herkybird.tynesidewargames.co.uk/misc.html
The previous post wouldn't allow me to add it saying 'The maximum number of URL's allowed is 2' - I could only see one!

AI tanker updated
Hi all,
Just to let you know the Arab Israeli tanker file (free to download, natch)- has been modified, so that the Archer SPG used by the Egyptians in 1956 can now be deployed!

Re: French tables for North Africa
Hi there!
Not sure if this is what you are after, but there is a list of French forces in Operation Torch at his link: https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=97956
I hope this is useful?

Re: Acquire rule question
I agree! We always assume acquisition is lost even if only for a part of a move. One of our chaps did suggest that in such brief loss of acquisition situations, one less acquisition die is needed to re-acquire. Though logical, we stuck to the original rules! It is a great game isn't it! PS: in case ...

Re: WaT solo rules --Link corrected!
The solo system is fairly interpretative, so rather depends on folk honestly making the guided choice in the best interests of the solo tank.
I hope you have fun using the rules!!!

Re: Sturmtiger?
Hi! I think the armour was slightly less than a Tiger 2, and more than a Tiger 1, so I would opt for an armour of 11, myself. The Rocket propelled is more of a problem! Allegedly, one shot which missed landed in a group of 5 Shermans - resulting in the disablement of all of them!!! It was loaded wit...
