Re: Level

It's an abstraction to speed the game and reduce unnecessary stats. In general, as WWII progressed, tanks generally got heavier while the bridges were the same wood and stone they were during the interwar period. Since in the game tanks of later years tend to be higher level than earlier tanks, it m...

Re: Hell Driving card

Joh is correct according to my observation of how Nick plays that. But if you used additional Aim dice to get a bonus do you lose those too? RAW, you do not lose the additional AIM dice, as they are used when firing, not when aiming. "Any number of AIM dice can be used when firing to reflect carefu...

Re: Initiative draw

Perhaps when doing chit draws, to account for things like ace or banked 6s, is to allow anyone who has initiative bonuses to draw first, and draw an extra chit for each plus, keeping the chit they want and returning the others.

Re: 1:100 (15mm) scale or 1:56 (28mm) scale?

but at conventions and club events where we have plenty of table space, I think 1:56 (28mm) scale will be eye catching. I dunno... There was a 15mm homebrew tank game demo at a convention I attended a couple months ago. It's kinda impressive seeing a 40 foot square 'table' (actually, mats and terra...

Missing Career Ladder entry

Looking over the Great Britain career ladder, it seems the Challenger is missing. Would it be best placed as a Level 4 (due to point cost) or Level 5 (due to higher Strike value)?

Re: Tank Destroyers in the tank lists.

On the German side, all StuG III and IV are closed and don't have turrets. Same for StuH 42, Jagdpanther, Jagdtiger and Jagdpanzer IV, Hetzer, Ferdinand and Nashorn. Marders, and Panzerjäger I are open and turretless. Small correction: the Nashorn is open. http://worldwar2headquarters.com/images/ta...

Re: 1:100 (15mm) scale or 1:56 (28mm) scale?

This is the dilemma we're running into locally. The player who brought the game to our attention is pushing 28mm, but most of us have extensive 15mm collections for other games. With the number of players who're interested, I'm thinking 28mm will just be too crowded a board, even if it's one AFV per...
