Re: First post and newbie question

Hello all! Forgive the 18 month threadomancy, but I have finally got around to getting this Napoleonics project off the ground, 28mm figures have been got out of storage, cleaned up, primed and undercoated and organized into battalions ready for painting....a potential opponent has been found, he is...

Re: Will CoC work with 3-2-1 basing?

John, thanks for the quick reply. Hmm yes those were all the reasons that I was worried about. I don't think multibasing will work.

Re: New player with a solo question

I own CoC and LOVE it, however my group rarely gets together and sometimes I don't want to pack stuff up and drive 30 minutes to chuck some dice. :o Only 30 minutes! Where is your commitment? I have travelled hours for the chance of a game before. Once (in the days before mobiles phones) comi...

I'll be next to the Too Fat Lardies on GL24.

As soon as Salute is over we'll crack on producing the scenarios proper - so hopefully not too long before they're out.

Re: Salute 2018

GdA will be at Salute? I was hoping it might be. I will make a point of hunting it out.

Re: First post and newbie question

Hi Vodkafan, It might simplify your task to keep in mind that companies in this period were generally administrative units not tactical ones. When a British battalion was deployed in line it would be divided up into 8 platoons of equal size arranged in 4 divisions for firing using the platoon firin...

Re: First post and newbie question

V, At the level you've gone for I would suggest General de Brigade, with perhaps treating each battalion as a brigade for command and control purposes. I.e. the battalion, artillery and cavalry commanders are your "brigadiers" under the rules. Another consideration is to allow your units to sustain...
