Re: Lard Dice

To be fair, despite being in this hobby for centuries and having dice of all shapes and sizes all over the place I'd still be tempted to get some Lard Dice. I'm just a sucker for dedicated dice for each game.

House rules and game tweaks

Hello everyone. I was thinking the other day, especially after the release of WaT and the avalanche of people proposing modifications, about the whole subject of House Rules. On one hand I support the idea that people are completely free to play a game in any way that they see fit. It's their time a...

Re: I've been an Idiot - help!

Hi guys. It didn't catch me out this time but I thought I should let you know that the issue is still there. Popped onto the shop to get my WaT pdf. Put that in the basket and all looks fine. Then it asks me to log in and my previous Sharp Practice pdf was still in the basket as well as the new WaT ...

Re: What A Tanker

A statement such as I will move and head to over there but if I don't get enough to make it to that wall(going heavier than expected) , I will stop out of range of potential panzerfausts. Is More reasonable. If you made enough to go over the wall but be lef exposed it wouldn't make sense. Similar f...

Re: Store Account Passwords

The thing with passwords is that we have been doing it wrong for years. A short password made up of 'special' characters that is currently favoured is actually the easiest form of password for a machine to crack with brute force. What we really should be doing is having much longer passwords that ar...

Yep, stage 1 is stumbling across TFL in some random way. Stage 2 is the realisation that you will end up with everything they produce so why fight against it. It's just the natural order of things.

Re: Gaming Clubs - Finding a Club - Making Friends etc

There is a phone app called 'Gamefor' I believe that tries to link gamers up based on location and gaming interests. I think it's new so it's coverage is probably not great but it might be worth a try. The other alternative might be to get into an IABSM facebook group and just put up a post in there...

Re: New Chain of Command video

I said it before about the other videos he did and I'll repeat it here for this one. It's Rich's enthusiasm and enjoyment that comes across so well in these that the the rest doesn't really matter. You are left with a feeling of 'I want to play that game' and 'I want to play that bloke'. Since stumb...

Re: I've been an Idiot - help!

Yeah, still happening as I just bought Sharp Practice and all the old items appeared in the basket again during the checkout process. Was able to delete them before purchase (I didn't want to be a plank twice!) so no harm done. This is just for info.
