Posting GDA 2
Afternoon all A quick sitrep. We have been flat out getting the long distance advanced orders posted. Standard orders, i.e. one set of rules in one envelope, went to Australia yesterday. The USA has gone today, Canada, New Zealand, HK, Singapore and similar far flung climes will go tomorrow. Tomorro...

The Far East Handbook
Morning all. I am sure you're all sick of me bleating on about the COVID backlog, (which sounds unfortunately like something to do with blocked airways), well, as of yesterday GDA2 has gone for its final round of proof reading and Midgard is ready and waiting for the layout studio to work their magi...

"Cult of Lard"
Moring all. I was on the On Tabletop forum this morning (Beasts of War, as was) and found a bit of a disturbing thread on there that I thought was worth replicating here in full. START QUOTE: I’ve put off writing this topic a few times and had many drafts but hopefully this is the one that sticks. I...

Re: What a Cowboy Dodge Question
Yes. That's correct. A pinned character cannot use any action dice until they have spent a Move Dice to clear the Pin token. They can still dodge if in cover and pinned but at a reduced chance.

Re: Now that the game has been out for 5 years, do you still play it?
I am intrigued to hear that What Tanker has been 'abandoned'. What a Tanker is a fun game that is a complete packaged and, equally, a completed project. It doesn't need anything else. If you want to expand on it and take it in a different direction then it's very simple to do so.

This is interesting as I have vacillated on the matter. However, on reflection I have come to the conclusion that you CAN Move it.
So Mark's answer does indeed makes perfect sense.

Re: Breaking and Fleeing after close combat
He means 'break' as in break contact. Not break as in the unit is broken. Whether a unit is broken or not is determined entirely by the relationship between the number of men present and the amount of shock. As detailed in 14.6.

Re: Lard Mag Submissions?
Gents, and Cornelius in particular, I can only apologise. I've been put on light duties by the Doc and, with the Far East Handboopk at such an advanced stage, I have rather been remiss in locking myself away in the Lard Island Library and failing to spot this question. We are indeed taking submissio...
