I'd say that, if only the JL could be seen and hit, then he can be targeted and all hits are on him. This assumes the section are hiding behind the wall and therefore not eligible as a target rather than using the wall as a firing position.

Winsor & Newton No7 series. Seconded. They may seem expensive but I find them so much better than anything else and they do last if you take care of them. The miniature ones are worth a look as well - they hold less paint so can be great for finer work. I use 1, O and OO mainly but have a wider sel...

You are spot on - it's V2 of IABSM but there is a conversion at http://toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?p=668 that will allow you to 'translate'.
