Hi Neal, The plan right now is to try a mix of Red Leather/Brown Sand (50:50) and then add Basic Skintone for Highlight 1 and Gold Brown for Highlight 2. That's very interesting, thank you. I am looking at the contrast paints at the moment for just these sort of things. One tip I got for 'dyed' buckskin was to say use the black with a touch of brown. Sounds like they could be worth a look.

Hi everyone,

I'm busy painting some FIW figures and wondered if anyone had any good colour suggestions (I use mainly Vallejo) for painting Indian flesh and buckskin?

I have a very large white board in my gaming room and I print QRS on multiple A3 sheets and have them up on that with magnets to hold them in place - it really is so much easier. Otherwise, I have a separate table for GM stuff.

Agreed - that would be a lot of junior officers!! And yes, much had changed since the Mutiny. In 1935 the Indian Artillery Regiment was formed and grew and grew during WW2 covering the full range of field, AT, AA. It was granted the Royal title in 1945. So Indian gunners are definitely around during...
