Brace Shields question

Hi all, a discussion arose during last nights playing of Infamy (the first actual game for me) about the Brace Shields drill. The game umpire said that to Brace Shields would automatically put my legionary formation into close order as the Brace shield action was a close order thing. I disagreed and...

Re: Little help here

Although I don't normally use strict points values to balance a game I do use them to give a rough check after I've selected the forces. I agree that the French Conscript and Volunteer points value at 4 seems a bit low compared to the British Regulars at 6, so I arbitrarily cost the French at 5 poin...

Re: Little help here

We have also had issues with movement rates in many scenarios and have tried out a small modification that has seen a lot more fluidity in our games. We make a rule that the first dice used for movement is always a 6 and then roll as usual for a second movement activation. This does not apply for th...

Perry British Hussars

Just under the rider's right armpit there is a moulded detail that looks roughly round in shape. It is attached to the main cross belt from the left shoulder. I tho...

Re: Napoleonic Royal Marines

Thank you Baron, that was the confirmation I needed. Can't argue with Don Troiani's research.
All the best.

Napoleonic Royal Marines

Hi All. Just prepping up some Perry Royal Marines for Sharp Practice and I wondered if anyone knows whether the drummer from the command pack would have a red coat or reversed facings. Internet searches have not proved conclusive and image searches for painted models leave me erring on the side of r...

SP2 Hit Allocation and Saving Roll Situation

Last week a club game of SP2 threw up an interesting situation that prompted some (amicable) discussion. Imagine a walled farm yard with chest high walls facing South and West. The defenders were a French group of 8 Line (#1) and a voltiguer skirmish group(#2) of 6 figures facing South. There was a ...

Page 34 - there it is - thank you JimLeCat. I thought I had spotted it somewhere. I have updated the index page references with that additional p34.
Thanks again.
