A combination of lack of long-range small arms (meaning you had to get in close, and fast) and poor dice (stopping you getting in close at all) scuppered you there, I'm afraid. A propos nothing in particular, I just heard of a veteran of the North Irish Horse who died recently, aged 96, but who, in addition to running the regimental website, was a mine of information on anything Churchill (tank, not wartime PM or car insurance mascot) and thought these might be of interes...

1. I don't know about this, but if you are savvy about the way you do it, you can expand the game to many more than 4 players without introducing any extra complexity in the turn sequence. What you should NOT do is just dump more leader chips/cards into the bag, as this generally produces very poor...
