Re: Question about scenario Holding Action from Summer Special 2017

It says: CALL FOR REINFORCEMENTS Limited German armour has been made available to Oberleutnant Schultz that he can request if Allied Armour is spotted. To call in the reinforcements Oberleutnant Schultz can spend one of his activations to radio HQ and make the request, the figure must be within 4” o...

It's a question that's been asked a lot. And I actually have some too. However, research continues. Ultimately, we could always include them in a section on semi-fantasy wargame favourites.

A: He is entirely independent and activates/deploys on a Command Dice roll of 1. However, we've also...

Re: Introducing "urgency" into games

That's useful to know - thanks. How many turns did you go for? - just to get an idea of the range to look at. In the games where we used it, we didn't set a limit for the attacker, but played with the number of command dice. Scenario was a surprise attack by French Foreign Legion paras at Dien Bien...

Re: Füsilierkompanie (auf Fahrrädern) KStN.149 V 1.9.1944

Core platoon looks fine, it's similar to a Volksgrenadier platoon in some ways so all/most of your machine pistols should be StG-44s. For the support lists though: Pak-36 would be a bit rare in 44, and I'd include all the normal supports for an infantry division (Pak-40, infantry guns, extra squads...
