Re: enemy effect on moving a jump-off point

The rule is "Troops moving to within 4” of an enemy Jump–Off Point will deny its USE to the enemy while they are in such close proximity."

I read that as "the owner of the Jump-Off Point cannot do anything with it as long as this condition exists". That includes moving it.

Re: Shock on wiped out team and French VB

Yes. The rules for the Troblon VB are on p. 73 of the 1940 Blitzkrieg supplement. They have 4 rounds each. On the first targeting of their enemy they shoot at 4d6, and then 8d6 if target has not moved. The rifle grenades are IMHO badly misrepresented in the game, being more effective than a 75mm inf...

Re: HMG/MMG/MG + crew...?

In CoC listings the mention of the weapon does not include any crew. So you need one MMG and 5 figures operating, observing for and loading the weapon.

Re: Scenario question in 29 Lets Go

in the psc it states "This is scenario 4 in the main rulebook and all deployment is precisely as stated there." In the main rulebook, scenario 4 Force Support it states " The defender may not select entrenchments, static defences or a preliminary barrage among his choices". Am I to take from that t...

Re: Why don't MMG teams have a Junior Leader

I added JLs to MMG teams in my Winter War campaign. It makes perfect sense, as the MMG is an expensive piece of specialized equipment and is commanded by a skilled NCO, just like an infantry squad. I also added some special fire modes for MMGs and the real number of crew members. The result is that ...

Re: Interupting with a CoC dice

Yes. This is something I only learned this month, after playing the game for more than five years :) You interrupt the other player's Phase, not anything he does. Thus you can not only shoot first at the unit which is about to shoot at you, you could also shoot at his pinned unit with which he inten...

Re: new player question

1) In the video the player moved a pinned unit back/away from the enemy. I can't find this in the rules? I thought pinned units are stuck in place until they rally enough shock and the turn ends? Tabletop CP and some other groups may have a house rule where you can do this. In CoC, any Sections or ...
