Re: Summer Special 2017
I bought it just 'cause it referred to one of the Lardites as "our very own chocolate sprinkle"-now, who could resist that.

Imperial Roman Army list
Since the good folks residing at Lard island have been so helpful in the past, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of an Imperial Roman army list for Dux Britanniarum? Thanks!

Re: Zombies (Weird War)
One of the TFL Specials had a scenario for zombies in COC. Maybe you could take a gander at that.

Re: Finest hours supplement-anyone tried this
I woulda thought the Defiants would have held their own against Heinkels or Dorniers through-I have read where the Boltons brought down some German bombers early on before the Me109's used them as chew-toys. I did think of adapting Squadron Forward for British bombers, but historically , especially ...

Re: Finest hours supplement-anyone tried this
Thanks guys, I found all your input really helpful. At this point (And my thinking changes faster then the New England weather) I'm going to play a few games of BTH2 and "Squadron Forward" to see if I can sustain my interest in this period. If I do, I'll take the plunge and pick up the Finest Hour s...

Re: Finest hours supplement-anyone tried this
Thanks Lorne and John-I was curious as to how different this was from "Squadron Forward", especially in the pilot generating system, and if "Their Finest Hour" campaigns were for fighters only or if bombers were also accommodated.

Re: Waffen SS rules
Oh yeah, you just jogged the guttering flame from my dwindling brain-cells! Wasn't this very topic mentioned either in a Special or on an on-line blog? I am 99 and 9/10th sure I that is where I have seen this topic mentioned before.

Re: Finest hours supplement-anyone tried this
Thanks Lorne-this really does sound interesting, especially playing out what is normally considered the "spear carriers" of the conflict, such as Stukas or Blenheim's, or even *gulp* the Battles. My only quibble that over in the States, the price tag would be ten dollars or so, which is a bit steep ...

Re: Waffen SS rules
I really like the look of the revised ORBATs above, and I don't see why this couldn't be brought forward to encompass other units, such as the British 8th army for example, which while winning fame as a elite unit in North Africa, had appeared to some observers to have become tired and cautions by t...
