Re: Stopped charge

T, Do supports also fire or only the primary charger? (I assume in a mass col. it is all). Yep - All supports fire, if in arc, etc. Is the any deduction if they become unformed (-1 or -2 vs. 0). No - the Charge results cover any modifiers which is why a column halted and unformed by the defenders vo...

A = Its both, supports may fire and any other unit/s within arc and range. See 6. Supporting fire. p45. 2. Must an infantry skirmish...

Re: Highlanders not too many.

Highland battalions certainly were not large for the Waterloo campaign, though a quick look at the Vitoria orbat has each battalion at around 750, so maybe your fellows could be excused for being a bit over optimistic - they're not that far off! ;)

Re: Firing at half effect

K,

Its in relation to casualties caused, so fire as normal and then half the casulties inflicted.

Roll 1D6 to round up/own any half casualties.

Re: Rockets range

G,
Sorry should have included that:

Rockets fire as standard medium artillery (6pdr-9pdr).

There are no modfiers at all for range or anything else.

Good Luck! :P

Re: Recovering from Fire Discipline

Recovering from LFD is not intended as a "reform", in terms of movement . It's considered as the officers and NCO regaining command over the battalion - thus ending the men's feu de joie ! No significant "movement" is deemed to have taken place, thus if you recover from LFD, your volleying returns t...
