Re: How to represent casualties and shock?

I'd be taking the games room with me if I was moving out!

Re: How to represent casualties and shock?

That's interesting to know. I'd have assumed it would be easy to swap figures in and out but now you mention it, trying to remove casualties when the unit is in amongst the trees will only lead to major deforestation. I think I'll give up on the idea and try and come up with a good roster shee...

Re: How to represent casualties and shock?

You can buy ready magnetised sabot bases from Warbases and suitable magnetised figure bases for that solution - harder if you've already based your troops, especially if on round bases. Otherwise sheet cuts easily down to as small as 10mm x 10mm without issue. That said I did the section/gruppe sab...

Re: How to represent casualties and shock?

Just wondered if anyone has tried magnetising their bases and the individual figures so that you can actually remove casualties. This approach would seem to be the ideal solution but magnetic paint is expensive (especially as it may not work and only likely to use a few brush strokes) and magnetic s...

AFV platoon orders?

My tank commanders BM card is drawn and with one of his Command points he issues the Hunt order. The platoon then move up and fire. Can the BM now issue the Engage order with his next Command point? (I understand that if so, the platoon would not be able to activate again this turn). This would prev...

Re: Blenneville or Bust query.

Okey dokey. As we haven't got an umpire and are unlikely to get one I think we'll both have access to the Ump's briefing. Thanks Derek.

Re: Bren carriers.

I like the idea of a carrier platoon and I can see a few seize and hold missions coming up. Looks like I may have to get another 5 carriers. They painted up quite nice so not a problem. Thanks for the advice John.

Re: Blenneville or Bust query.

The scenarios are all playable without a referee. But it takes away some of the element of surprise if both players read the referees briefing and it's a bit unfair if only one of them reads it. So as we won’t have an umpire would you recommend then that no one reads the umpires briefing? Or is the...

Bren carriers.

As most of my figures come from when I was amassing a force for FoW (only played it once, too much rules checking during the game), I have 8 bren carriers sitting around not doing anything. Has anybody got any idea what I can use them for? Is there a particular company that would need 8 bren carrier...
