Re: 6mm terrain for "0" Group
Capt Fortier: Thanks for your kind words, the BUA bases are 2 mm mdf. I agree that the factory base should have maybe less grass but I have been treating this base as an abandoned destroyed factory so I felt grass would be OK. As you can see from the close ups the buildings are a little rough, as I...

6mm terrain for "0" Group
Some work on my 6mm terrain using cm rathet than inches for scale. The photo is how it looks through Zoom for Virtual Wargaming. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PHm-lu41Ysk/YGYfpiPCMNI/AAAAAAAAR2M/RUfAuXfTVBA6AWD1hVnSBudLGJ69QaPIwCLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h288/FDDF1B9D-9EB6-4E5C-BCE4-795B7A57D680.jpeg Close-ups at...

Re: Questions about FO’s
Thanks David. I want to make sure I have this right. In the defending player's initial game set up throw, he gets 2 6's, thus he starts with 3 Ambush points. Are the type weapon/infantry predetermined for each ambush point or is it that the defending player can choice what to place on an ambush when...

Re: Questions about FO’s
FOs can still spot whilst remaining in Ambush. DB That is interesting, I missed that. So they can go anywhere in cover in the defensive deployment zone, and remain undetected until revealed but all the time being able to call in Mortars and Artillery. I would presume this would really force the att...

Re: 'War Room' ideas
Interesting, I am in an attic as well and am restricted by the width of the room as well as the peaked ceiling. Fortunately the room is quite long so I have been able to place two 4x6' tables with a 5' space separating both where I put another table as a work station. The peaked ceiling is a bit of ...

Re: CoC Bloody Bucket campaign (updated 21 03 21)
Nicely done as usual. I am relieved that the Germans finally got a victory (having been on the persistently losing side (Von Luck Brits) of a campaign is not fun). It would seem now that the best the Germans can do is a Narrow victory on Turn 9. But who knows if they are well positioned they might w...

Re: Questions re Terrain and OB
Thanks very much guys, we had a nice discussion on FB. I have decided to change the river to rough ground but also offer cover to infantry. This solves 2 problems for me, ie in respect to lack of cover and sticking to the rules for terrain (ie the river is now a stream). Took out the PzSch and put i...
