Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

You'll probably find that the Germans are able to get at least one JOP inside the walls, in which case I think it's reasonable to assume the gate is open or no real barrier. Even if it weren't, AFV vs little padlock is not much of a contest. Well certainly on the left flank for sure, fair enough ab...

Re: CoC German AB Figure Platoon

Thanks, the platoon held vertically does look neat. Someone asked about the Nazi Tricks, some of the figures are from the the Caesar Miniatures partizan box. I can not remember now where the uniformed figure in the leather trench coat came from. I thought it was CP, Elhiem or TQD but can not find th...

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

Thanks everyone...really helpful info and thoughts. Interesting to look at photo of actual walls. Ultimately my opponent and myself will have to make a decision but I think my preference will be to treat the walls (major obstacle per campaign) as Seret and Mark have with complete blockage of LOS and...

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

So how did you play it Seret, in respect to the walls (firing/target) and the Schlepper. I remember you took one.

Re: High Stone Walls and Firing

Thanks John, that sounds pretty straight forward in respect to walls. It is a little bit map dependent in how you would indicate whether the troops can target or be a target. I think in games terms if the base is touching the wall they have we can presume they are target quality. I do not have a pro...

High Stone Walls and Firing

Hi, Hopefully a much less complex question than the one about snipers and opentop AVF's. Scenario 5 in Von Luck has a lot of high stone walls so a couple of questions about firing and LOS. Can a unit next to a high stone wall fire at a target in LOS (this seems a little different than bocage but may...
