Re: Would you play with unpainted figs?

Life is too short, enjoy yourself.

If your enjoyment comes from painted figures, wait, if you also enjoy throwing dice around with your mates, have at it primed. I make no judgement.

Re: New to SP (TFL in general) and ran into some questions.

Hmm, Ya I guess if the core force is just that, and there wasn't a higher game point value to build toward, it makes more sense. Hard to add much in the way of support troops though it seems. If I want to add a group of grenadiers to my core force, I would need to have enough support + difference in...

Re: New to SP (TFL in general) and ran into some questions.

working on a "foraging party bumbles into a forward position newly occupied" scenario, and maybe I am going too high on points anyway, I was just worried say you roll a 1 for support and the support alone doesn't allow for much. I guess a lvl 1 leader is always affordable.

New to SP (TFL in general) and ran into some questions.

First question is about force building. I get the core force, and that it is malleable to fit more your models/theater, but my question is this: If we decide on say a 80 point battle, and my core is the french light column, I have 19 more points available. Now I can purchase a few units to fill that...

Re: new podcast "The Brit, The Yank, And The Hobby Podcast"

Are you going to cover mutliple periods, or mainly WW2? (kinda tired of WW2 myself to be honest, but to each their own)

Basing your leaders

So I bought some warbases 20mm bases and regiment trays for my rank and file, but not sure how to base the leaders. Do people normally go just a little larger to distinguish them (say 30mm) or more go for a little diorama, (40 mm or larger). New to the game, so not sure if the leaders are killable a...

Re: Multiplayer Games in SP2?

Do you find that splitting up one sides Big Men leads to players not having as much to do a turn? I am a little worried that with the random nature of when the turn ends one person can get somewhat shutout of doing much if their leaders don't come up a few times in a row. I am perfectly fine with th...
