Re: Sd.Kfz. 251/21 Drilling in CoC

Mr Clarke himself in the TF Chappuis article made it "Sd.Kfz. 251/21 ‘Drilling’ (Armour 2, AP 4, HE 10, No secondary, Fast, open top)" so I am going with that. Today is the first day of face to face gaming for many months in the UK so it's a simple Probe scenario - 107th Pz Brigade vs 101st AB.

Sd.Kfz. 251/21 Drilling in CoC

Working on a scenario with 107th Panzer Brigade vs 101 AB and find I need the stats for the Sd.Kfz. 251/21 Drilling, specifically one armed with triple 15mm aircraft cannon. The Consolidated Arsenal does not have it so is anyone aware of official stats? If not, I was thinking of treating it as a HMG...

Re: Game Size Survey

Yes, I assumed it would be a bit cramped, but 8 figures is just too few to produce a proper Roman spectacle to my mind.

Re: Game Size Survey

Not played yet myself because of COVID but my existing 28mm figures are mostly 3 or 4 figures (the latter for Romans) to a 50mm square base. I was wondering whether using such a base as a "figure" in Infamy would work. Anyone have thoughts/experience?

Re: Newbie rule question about APC teams

The panzer-recce list show 1 JL per squad of two vehicles, not one per vehicle. I would be inclined not to give them a second JL just because the base rulebook says that a single vehicle includes a JL as that contradicts the specific list.

Re: Overwatch questions

Mike, thanks for the reply. I think I'll add that one to our House Rules/Clarifications list.

Re: Overwatch questions

Oh Mike, so as in example three, you play that when a unit goes completely out of sight of the enemy it goes back on a blind. Interesting.

Re: British Armoured Car Squadron 1944.

I don't think by Market Garden that the Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment was being used in the Recce role but rather in the "regimental" all-arms pairings of an Infantry and Armoured battion, so the Welsh one would be the 2nd Welsh Guards (Cromwell Regiment) and the 1st Battalion (infantry). The arm...

Re: Making IABSM less deadly

Not tried it. Presumably with more shock, sections are more likely to break, rather than carrying on fighting but with fewer men (though of course once down to zero actions a section is useless anyway and effectivelty broken).
