Dick,

Good to see that you are showing the TFL flag with some CoC. I am driving up Friday so will see if I can get into your Saturday afternoon game.

I am glad you have gotten into a game on Friday, John!

Re: Operationmartlet queston

A lovely piece! Does the Calvary provide cover? Any impact on LOS?

A friend and I are just getting ready to play Martlet so any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Step out question

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the responses. I am inclined to not allow the step out plus other card-driven added movement characteristics as well.

I appreciate the prompt and cogent replies.

Step out question

Just a quick question on step out -- can it be combined with Ambuscade, Tally Ho!, and the free action of skirmishers to add an extra d6 of movement? In the case of Tally Ho!, a unit of, say British Light Dragoons, could (at the gallop) cover 5d6 + 9, on average more than two feet. This is quite sig...

Have you looked at Dashing Dice Games Witchfinder General rules? Here is the website: http://www.dashingdicegames.co.uk/index.html. They might provide some ideas and/or inspiration. This blog has some interesting games/ideas using the above rules: http://pijlieblog.blogspot.com/2013/11/another-night...

Re: Turn 4-Von Luck Campaign

My understanding of places like Monte Cassino is not so much that the rubble provides equal to or better cover but rather it increased the potency of the defenders. For a large building complex like the monastery, reducing it to rubble makes the entire area defensible, not just along the perimeter. ...
