Re: New to COC

Just to add: - In many lists in other places, the description of the German LMG Team is "3 crew" (and no rifleman). In other words, all three members of the team are fully occupied in serving the LMG and don't have time to fire their own personal weapon. I tend to go with the "3 crew, zero rifles-be...

Re: New to COC

MLB's article is indeed pretty useful. To try and answer some of your specific questions here: - "Under Appendix B, National Army Lists; Germany, It says squads one to three (does that mean there is 3 squads or there’s up to 3 squads?" That means that there are three squads, all of which are organis...

Re: Qns about close combat from deployment and in woods.

3.) Yes and Yes no restrictions for MW in woods Not quite clear about this answer - are you saying that I could simply have shot at him? There is a conundrum here in that you have to be within 4" of somebody in wood in order to see them, but that automatically forces you to engage them in close com...

Re: German Late War Lists

I couldn't speak to the specific legality but, given how cheap the PSCs are, I personally think that people should buy them if they want any part of the contents, no matter how small. This is someone's livelihood, after all.

Re: When is a unit pinned

It's not an exploit, in my opinion, but you need to make the decision before activating the units as to whether they are all firing at once (thus getting that chance for the six kills = auto leader hit) or whether they are firing one at a time (in which case, you check the leader's chances after eac...

Re: Question about removing shock

I agree entirely with Don. This paragraph (top of page 17 in the PDF) under 4.4 ... "On a Command Dice roll of 2, a Section or Squad may be activated. An attached Leader may accompany them if they move or fire if they fire, but may not use his Command Initiative in this Phase." ... might be read as ...

Re: German Mixed platoons and Senior Leaders

So I refer back to my latest query - I am assuming that the SL can activate all of the other 3 vehicles with a radio message which could be to tell them to move or fire (each 1 CI). Therefore, the other 3 vehicles could fire or move and the SL would still have 1 or 2 CIs to use on his own vehicle d...
