Re: SP1 SCENARIO BOOKS

I posted this on the facebook group earlier. I made a guide for how I update the scenarios from SP1 to SP2. The guide takes a scenario from The Coming Thunder and updates it to SP2 then has what my thought process was for the change. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bJgVaobghPlSH_OZSybxD95JTX2SOqZL...

Painting a metal or tin roof

I have a few buildings that I am trying to paint up as having a metal roof. I am not sure I am getting a result I want. Part of the problem is being partially color blind. Here are two recent examples of what I have tried. https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nhnMs9ecv0o/XH1ZxUuo6ZI/AAAAAAAAIEM/Y1eNf8EOvssh-4...

Light Machine Guns of WWI

Not sure if any of you are familiar with the YouTube Channel C&R Arsenal but they are doing a project on the light machine guns of WWI. Episode II is a 100 yard range test and it is very interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hSZbo8Hvn4 They have a number of episodes on the small arms of the ...

Re: Gigabytes Historical Games Day - Part 2 SP

Thanks Mark. It seemed like there was no time to talk. I need to figure out how to run a game in a shorter amount of time. Both my games went well beyond their time slots.

Gigabytes Historical Games Day - Part 2 SP

The second game I ran at the games day at Gigabytes (11/10/2018) was a Sharp Practice game with a Royal Navy landing party attacking a shore battery. We had 4 players in the game and it featured s 6 gun sloop, an 8-gun schooner and a small gunboat as well as the landing craft. The British had a forc...

Gigabytes Historical Games Day - Part 1 KMH sort of

I had a chance to write up a tiny little bit of a recent historical games day that happened at Gigabytes Cafe in Marietta, Ga over the weekend. There were 16 games that were run during the course of the day. One of the two games that I ran was a Kiss Me Hardy game with some modifications for ships u...

1:300 ships

I have been tinkering with using Kiss Me Hardy for actions below the rate. I found some nice miniatures from Sea Dog Studios and Warartisan. I also picked up some Langton miniatures for the really small stuff. I have been working on the Sailed Launch, a Yawl and a British Gunboat. I posted some note...

Re: AWI Indian forces and lists

I have some indian lists in This Land Divided. Still working on updating it to version 2 of Sharp Practice. The only tribe that I can think of that Allied itself with the Rebels over the British were the Catawba in South Carolina. There were probably more though but I read mostly about the war in Ge...
