Re: CoC Battle of Narvik

Quite a scenario! I don't find the force combinations too irregular, the situation was quite mixed in Narvik.
What surprises me is the apparent lack of cover...

It however gives me a good idea of how to proceed once I have my 13e DBLE together

soviet tank platoon, especially early WW2 and Winter War

Hi guys, sorry, I am sure this has come up before, but the search engine is not helpful: I would like to know where I can find TOO for soviet armour and armoured car platoons, especially for the time before Barbarossa, 1938-1940. Starting with SCW and then Manchuria, Winter War etc. Also with specia...

Re: 15cm sIG.33 in early war lists

the range is too long for the ground scale, and as such it would not be deployed so close to the combat zone?

I would suggest an off-table solution in the same way as the 88 fires from off-table in certain scenarios

Re: early war french dragons portes - building the unit

leapfrogging or not, the french always have the fusiliers with the LMG and the voltigeurs/eclaireurs with a VB and no LMG. The problem is the fact that they are fragmented on motorcycles and thus divisable, that happened all the time I am thinking about the following concept: Two sections, each with...

Re: Help please. German tank commanders uniform?

it really depends on the cut of the uniform on the model.
If it is the tank uniform it should be black or field grey for StuG units.
Other uniforms accordingly

Re: RCW Adaptation?

Hi Paul,

for RCW I would recommend the Mood and Blood/CoC crossover released in the 2014? Christmas Special, as it should cover the scale fought in the RCW pretty well.

You would probably need to make up the Russian list yourself by using the CoCulator or adapting another list

Re: early war french dragons portes - building the unit

interesting approach.... well, I am not splitting hair about NCO ranks, there are too many to be represented by JL, SJL and ISL - or SL for that matter. As for the LMG crew - the "gamesmanship" of the two rifles pays for the vulnerability of the two man LMG crew. I was just trying to adapt...

Re: early war french dragons portes - building the unit

OK, as I found the source for the organization, http://i31.servimg.com/u/f31/11/61/41/83/numar286.jpg here is my list: command squad SL with pistol SJL with rifle or SMG VB corporal (make him a JL if necessary), rifle with VB observer with rifle (obviously, I dropped the messenger and the mechanic, ...

Re: Assaulting from armoured transport

This is what I think of when 'assaulting from armoured vehicle' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG-o4SwYztw It says a lot about vehicles getting close in with infantry without any support obviously, not orcs  So, how come seasoned wargamers fail to see the difference between a lightly armoured...
