See General d’Armee at Salute

As always, Salute promises to be the big event on the UK wargaming calendar and once again we will be present with lots of exciting stuff.  Top of the agenda is the news that Reisswitz Press will be present with Dave Brown and is chums from Loughton Strike Force will be running a demo of Dave’s forthcoming Napoleonic rules, General d’Armee.  You can catch up with Dave, the man rightly known as the Grand Master of Napoleonic Rules, at table GJ14 where, he tells me, his game will feature some gardening in Dresden (the clue’s in the question folks!).

We’ll be releasing the rules at Partizan on the 21st of May, so this is a great opportunity to get a preview of what promises to be the big rules release of the year.  To sharpen your appetite, here’s a view of the cover in all of its resplendent glory.

Also present will be the usual TooFatLardies team led by Richard Clarke who will be running a game of Sharp Practice on Table GD04 in our usual position at the back near the bins.  Richard tells us that the game will be set in the Peninsular War in 1809 and sees the Light Company of the West Sussex Regiment take on a bunch of ne’er-do-well Frenchmen.  He’ll be running participation games throughout the day, so why not come and join us in what promises to be a jolly experience.

To top it all off, we will be trading with our full range of rules and game accessories available from our trade stand at TD02 with some great Salute deals to be had.  We hope to see you there.

Looking forward to this set of rules. I’m playing pickets charge for the first time tomorrow so will be a good guide to whether I will enjoy Grande armee
